    just because I have had an account for ages on 43P/T/etc… but I don’t like OpenID.

    Perhaps not seamlessly, but if you login using OpenID you can use your 43things username to login, and not have to create a new account from scratch.

    It’s on the login page, just below the user/pass form fields.

    then you are logged in on 43 Places, Lists of Bests, 43 People, and All Consuming. It would be quite convenient if all that carried over into Should Do This as well.
